This Desert Contemporary is scheduled to begin construction in the hills of Phoenix which offers wonderful city light views. The design team was challenged with capturing preferred views while screening adjacent properties and allowing for a sense of privacy in the urban setting. The solution was a series of undulating wall planes that create a very open spacious feeling while allowing the required privacy. A simplified palette of materials including exposed masonry, glass, and wood create a backdrop for modern furnishings and lifestyle. The 6,500sf home will include five bedrooms, a wood shop and wine cellar. |
