This Southwest Contemporary is located on a custom lot in the elite north Scottsdale community of Desert Mountain. The design team located the 8,800 sf residence to take advantage of the sloping site, and orientation toward city light views. Floor to ceiling glass blurs the boundaries between inside and outdoors, and warm materials create a casually elegant space. Spatial volumes are defined by wall planes, and carefully design flat and copper roofs accent the overall effect. Water features enhance the directed views. This custom residence was designed under the progressive “Green Building” program championed by the City of Scottsdale. |
