This Southwest Contemporary home is located in the elite north Scottsdale community of Desert Mountain. The design team worked closely with the owners to take full advantage of surrounding desert mountain views while creating a serene peaceful haven. Many interior rooms open directly to spacious patios increasing the open feel of the home and blurring the boundary between inside and outside. The team used a warm palette of materials that includes copper roofs, steel doors, native stone, wood, and glass. Special features include five bedrooms, a wood shop, sauna, and wine cellar. This custom residence was designed under the progressive “Green Building” program championed by the City of Scottsdale. |
