Scott Carson, AIA, NCARB, LEED, AP
Senior Project Architect
Scott is a licensed Architect in the state of Arizona, and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). Scott grew up in Arizona and received his Bachelor of Science in Design with influence in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from Arizona State University.
Scott had the good fortune of interning with the late George Christensen, F.A.I.A while completing his studies at ASU, and then full time as project manager for several of the his high end residential projects. After the unexpected passing of Mr. Christensen, Scott was instrumental in helping to continue the firm of Carson Poetzl, Inc., where he designed and managed many of the firm’s extensive residential additions and restorations, including two homes designed by well known local architect Bennie Gonzalez.
Scott Joined Peterson Architecture & Associates in August of 2006, and is Senior Project Architect for several of the firm’s high end residential and commercial projects. He has designed custom homes located throughout the valley and also lends his knowledge to the firm’s commercial designs, managing The Ritz-Carlton Resort & Residences located in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Scott\'s achievements have won him the title of “2008 AIA Young Gun Architect” by the Phoenix AIA Chapter and his projects have graced the pages of Phoenix Home & Garden.
Scott and his wife have 4 children. When not working, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, and can be found most weekends on the lake, enjoying the outdoors and wakeboarding.
