Tom was raised in Matawan, New Jersey. While growing up, Tom was actively involved in the Scouting program receiving the Eagle Scout Award and continuing to support the Scouts today. While at ASU, Tom worked in the computer aided model and prototyping shop (CAED) assisting other students with their projects. He is especially adept using the computer numerator controller, or CNC, machine, combining advanced computer technology with laser cutting capabilities. In 2003 Tom\\\\\\\'s studio won the Form Z Award of Distinction. After graduation, Tom was promoted to head CNC operator, and continues to assist ASU students in his free time. After completing a summer European Tour, Tom joined Peterson Architect and Associates were he begins his career working on construction documents for the firm’s high end residential projects.

Tom also enjoys furniture design and production, traveling, and enjoying the western outdoors.
