Araceli Frausto, Assoc. AIA
Senior Project Manager

Araceli was raised in Yuma, Arizona. Since her youth, Araceli has dreamed of becoming an architect. Her passions guided her to attend Arizona State University where she studied Architecture and received a Bachelor of Architectural Studies and a Masters of Architecture in 2001. Interested in continuing her study of Architecture Araceli spent a year as an exchange student in Stuttgart, Germany.

While attending school, Araceli assisted students in the wood and model shop where her passion for furniture and building design developed. In 1997 Araceli pursued an internship with local Firm, Durrant. This endeavor instilled valuable skills in training, project management, and design practices. While there she worked on commercial and governmental projects. Discovering her niche in commercial design she continued her career with Durrant as a junior project manager. She worked on numerous noted projects including the Phoenix Crime Laboratory, and Patagonia Schools. Araceli also helped develop strategies and facility concepts for correctional facilities throughout Mexico.

In 2005 Araceli joined Peterson Architecture & Associates. Araceli quickly established herself working on a variety of luxury commercial projects.
